"Paths of Expression"

The multi-layered compositions of artist Johanna Clara Becker (*1995 in Krefeld) are snapshots of her inner state and invite the viewer to make their own discoveries. Without boundaries or predetermined interpretations, her art remains open and preserves its mystery. Her paintings consist of numerous overlapping layers – just as humans are complex beings, full of contrasts and facets. Eneka Razquin (*in Barakaldo, Basque Country, Spain) combines geometric and organic forms into expressive compositions in her works, inspired by personal impressions and observations. Her intuitive working method creates art that reflects the balance between rules and freedom. New to the exhibition: ceramics by Margareta Goyk-Galvan, which impress with vibrant and bold colors and forms. For over 20 years, the artist has masterfully combined ceramic construction techniques with expressive underglaze painting. Her works tell stories about values, beliefs, and the world we live in.
